All Is Lost

Our Man (Robert Redford) is a veteran sailor alone in the Indian Ocean, and all he wants is to get himself and his boat home. He wakes to water coming in after a stray shipping container has struck the hull, and the radio and navigation equipment no longer work. J.C. Chandor keeps him the only person on screen, and with supplies dwindling and sharks circling, the ocean is all that stands between him and the end.
