All My Puny Sorrows

Yolandi (Alison Pill) keeps showing up for her sister Elfrieda (Sarah Gadon), who has built a life as a world-famous concert pianist, while her own love and work come apart. Both women left their strict Mennonite upbringing behind, and Michael McGowan adapts Miriam Toews's novel with the family close around them. Whatever else goes wrong, the two of them are still bound to each other by blood and by where they came from.
