All My Sons

(1948)Directed by Irving Reis94 minDrama

A crime was committed at Joe Keller's factory during the war, and his old partner Herbert Deever is the one who paid for it. Years later, Joe (Edward G. Robinson) is a prosperous man, and his son Chris (Burt Lancaster) plans to marry Ann Deever (Louisa Horton), the daughter of the man who went down. Irving Reis keeps the film inside the Keller house, where Kate (Mady Christians) stands in the doorway and says nothing.
