All of Us Strangers

“All of us hurt. All of us hope. All of us love.”

Adam (Andrew Scott) is a screenwriter living in a nearly empty tower block in London, and he wants to write about his parents, who died when he was a boy. Then a neighbor, Harry (Paul Mescal), knocks on his door one night, and the quiet routine Adam has kept starts to loosen. Andrew Haigh lets the two threads sit side by side, a new closeness in the present and the old grief that makes it hard to accept.
