All That Jazz

“All that work. All that glitter. All that pain. All that love. All that crazy rhythm.”

Joe Gideon (Roy Scheider) wants two things at once: to finish editing his film and to open a new Broadway musical, and he runs on pills to manage both. His private life is falling apart around him, and he leans on Kate Jagger (Ann Reinking) and Audrey Paris (Leland Palmer) while he keeps working. Bob Fosse draws on his own career as a dancer and choreographer, and turns his own habits into the film.
