...All the Marbles

“The California Dolls and their best friend Harry...Together they're going for...All The Marbles”

Harry Sears (Peter Falk) is a small-time promoter who manages the California Dolls, a women's tag team made up of Iris (Vicki Frederick) and Molly (Laurene Landon). He drives them from one cheap arena to the next, chasing a shot at the big money and a bigger name. Robert Aldrich fills the ring and the crowd around it with the loose, grainy energy of a traveling show, and lets Falk's patter carry the scenes between matches.
