All the Right Moves

“He has everything at stake. He can't afford to lose. He's got to make all the right moves.”

Stefen Djordjevic (Tom Cruise) plays defensive back for a high school football team in a Western Pennsylvania steel town, and a scholarship is the only way he sees out of Johnstown. His coach, Nickerson (Craig T. Nelson), has his own eye on a college job, and when the two men collide, Stefen's chance is the one at risk. Stefen is seventeen and sure the town will keep him if he lets it.
