All We Imagine as Light

Prabha (Kani Kusruti), a nurse in Mumbai, goes through her shifts and her evenings as usual until a package arrives from the husband she has not heard from in years. Her younger roommate Anu (Divya Prabha) spends the same weeks searching the crowded city for anywhere she can be alone with her boyfriend Shiaz. Payal Kapadia places the two women side by side in a shared flat, and a trip to a beach town gives each of them room for the desires the city has kept closed.
