“The enemy is listening.”

Casablanca, 1942. Max Vatan (Brad Pitt), a Canadian intelligence officer, meets Marianne Beauséjour (Marion Cotillard), a French Resistance fighter, and the two pose as a married couple on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. They reunite in London, where the war presses in on their relationship. Robert Zemeckis, working from a Steven Knight script, shoots the romance in the glossy style of a wartime picture.
