“Almost History... Almost Legends... Mostly Ridiculous.”

In 1804, the Pacific Northwest is unmapped country, and two explorers set out to reach the ocean before Lewis and Clark do. Bartholomew Hunt (Chris Farley) and Leslie Edwards (Matthew Perry) lead the expedition, and Christopher Guest has them stumble through the wilderness with great confidence and no skill. Farley's last starring role plays like a plain joke about men who want to be remembered more than they want to be prepared.
