Aloft

Nana Kunning (Jennifer Connelly) is a mother whose family is split by an accident, and years later she has become a renowned artist and healer. Her son Ivan (Cillian Murphy) grows up to be a falconer who carries the marks of a double absence. Claudia Llosa follows them across both decades, and the film's question is plain: whether a person can live fully when the ground keeps shifting.
