Aloha

“Sometimes you have to say goodbye before you can say hello.”

Brian Gilcrest (Bradley Cooper) is a military contractor who built his name in Hawaii and comes back years later to oversee the launch of a privatized weapons satellite. His minder is Captain Allison Ng (Emma Stone), an Air Force officer who watches his work closely, while Tracy Woodside (Rachel McAdams), a love from his earlier time on the islands, is living there too. Cameron Crowe sets all of it under Hawaii's skies, the same ones the satellite is meant to cross.
