Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) is a meticulous insurance risk assessor whose marriage falls apart on his honeymoon. At a party, he reconnects with Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston), a free-spirited former classmate who lives without plans or guardrails. As Reuben lets her pull him into her world of improvisation and spontaneity, he has to decide whether safety or joy matters more.
