Alphaville

“Suddenly the word is Alphaville... and a secret agent is in a breathless race against the Masters of the Future.”

Lemmy Caution (Eddie Constantine) is a trench-coated secret agent who drives into Alphaville, a city run by a computer called Alpha 60, with orders to eliminate its creator, Professor Von Braun. Jean-Luc Godard shot it on real Paris streets at night, with glass and concrete buildings standing in for the future. Lemmy is assigned to the professor's daughter Natacha (Anna Karina), and he has to teach her what love means.
