Always - Sunset on Third Street

In 1958 Tokyo, Mutsuko Hoshino (Maki Horikita) steps off a train into a small Third Street neighbourhood, with the new Tokyo Tower rising over its rooftops. Takashi Yamazaki follows the neighbours as the city modernises around them, among them the struggling writer Ryunosuke Chagawa (Hidetaka Yoshioka) and the auto shop owner Norifumi Suzuki (Shinichi Tsutsumi). Their households lean on each other, sharing meals and small troubles.
