Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy

In Perugia, Italy, in 2007, British student Meredith Kercher (Amanda Fernando Stevens) is found murdered, and her American roommate Amanda Knox (Hayden Panettiere), a Seattle honors student, is accused along with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito (Paolo Romio). Robert Dornhelm follows the case as Knox's mother, Edda Mellas (Marcia Gay Harden), crosses the ocean. Knox faces an Italian courtroom, and her freedom depends on whether anyone believes her.
