Amateur

“Every dream has a price.”

Terron Forte (Michael Rainey Jr.) is fourteen, and he wants one thing: to play basketball well enough to get out. An elite prep school recruits him, and Coach Gaines (Josh Charles) and Nia (Sharon Leal) pull him toward a world of unofficial money that nobody explains. Ryan Koo follows a boy who has to learn how amateur sports actually work while the adults around him decide what he is worth.
