“Nobody wants to be ordinary.”

In Lexington, Kentucky, in 2004, four young men set out to pull off one of the most audacious art heists in American history. Spencer Reinhard (Barry Keoghan) and Warren Lipka (Evan Peters) lead the planning, and Bart Layton cuts between the actors and the real men remembering it. Each version of the story wants to be the true one, so the film keeps asking whose memory to believe.
