“A new kind of trial”

Henry David Cole (Vincent Kartheiser) wants a verdict, and he plans to get it in public. He has taken two strangers hostage and goes live on social media, announcing that one of them will die before the day ends. Wilson Coneybeare puts Judge Straight (Donald Sutherland) in front of the feed, where Cole needs the online crowd to decide who lives, and he waits for them to vote.
