“Some legacies must end.”

Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) is a charismatic white supremacist serving time in prison for murder. His younger brother Danny (Edward Furlong) has inherited Derek's hatred and his position in a Los Angeles hate group, following the same path toward destruction. Kaye builds the film in black and white and color, forcing the viewer into Derek's perspective before pulling back to see the wreckage his conviction has left behind.
