“Some legacies must end.”

Derek (Edward Norton) comes home to Los Angeles after three years in prison for killing two Black men. Before he went in, he led a skinhead gang that terrorized the city, and his younger brother Danny (Edward Furlong) followed him in, taking in everything Derek said and did. Now Derek has cut ties with the gang and wants to pull Danny out, and Tony Kaye, in his first feature, tells it through Danny's narration.
