Wilson (Ian McShane) is an aging assassin sent to Fuerteventura for one last job, killing a man he has never met. The target is delayed, and Wilson drifts through the island's days, meeting its people and wandering toward a rusting shipwreck on the coast. Gonzalo López-Gallego shoots the island in flat, bleaching sunlight and lets the waiting stretch out.
