American Yakuza

“The mob has a new enemy.”

A warehouse in the harbor is hit by Dino Campanela (Michael Nouri) and his Italian Mafia crew, and Nick Davis (Viggo Mortensen), fresh out of a year in solitary and working a forklift there, pulls Shuji Sawamoto (Ryo Ishibashi) out of it alive. Shuji brings him into the Yakuza, swears him in as his godson, and Frank A. Cappello keeps the nightclubs and back rooms moving fast. Nick is an FBI agent under cover, and the family he is lying to is the only one he has.
