Among the Living

“What horrible fascination did this monster have for women?”

John Raden (Albert Dekker) walks into a small town to claim his inheritance, and the people there react as if they have seen him before. Stuart Heisler builds the story around identical twin brothers, one of whom has been kept in isolation for years and is no longer where he was left. Susan Hayward plays Millie Pickens, who is drawn toward the man at the center of it, and the film leaves her unsure which brother she is facing.
