“The danger lies just below the surface”

Detective Eric Visser (Huub Stapel) wants to find who is pulling bodies out of Amsterdam's canals, and the city's officials want it quiet. The killer is a diver who moves unseen through the water, leaving almost nothing for Visser to follow. Dick Maas sets the murders against a city built on its waterways, where the danger sits just beneath the surface people walk beside every day.
