Amsterdam's canals run dark and rain-thick as a killer surfaces again, leaving bodies in the water. Detective Eric Visser (Huub Stapel), older now and thought retired from this hunt, is pulled back when the murders restart with a signature he recognizes. Visser descends into the city's wet underbelly once more, knowing this time what it will cost him.
