“Have faith in fear”

Tomaz (Alec Secăreanu), a former soldier now homeless in London, suspects that a presence is living inside the decaying house where he has been offered a room. He stays all the same, because Magda (Carla Juri) lives there, nursing her dying mother upstairs. Romola Garai lets the slow routines of the house build around them, and as he grows closer to Magda, he keeps catching signs of the other tenant.
