An Adventure in Space and Time

“The Story Begins Here...”

In the early 1960s, BBC Television has a Saturday tea-time slot to fill, and a drama about a time-travelling doctor is the answer. William Hartnell (David Bradley), tired of playing hard men, takes the lead, while Verity Lambert (Jessica Raine) fights her way into a producer's chair in an industry that keeps its doors shut to her. Terry McDonough's film is about how a children's drama made quickly, with little money, can outlast the people who made it.
