A new school year begins for Saige Copeland (Sidney Fullmer), an artist who loves horses and can't wait to see her best friend Tessa Jablonsky (Alexandra Peters). Then Tessa starts spending time with another girl, and the school cuts art class, the one place Saige feels sure of herself. Vince Marcello keeps the film at a gentle pace, with Saige's grandmother nearby as she faces her stage fright.
