An American Pickle

“A story of self preservation”

A pickle factory worker named Herschel Greenbaum (Seth Rogen) is sealed in a brine vat and wakes a century later in modern Brooklyn. His only living relative is his great-grandson Ben (also Rogen), a computer coder who has little patience for an ancestor who arrives with old-country manners. Brandon Trost directs a story about family, and how much of where you come from you can carry into a life that looks nothing like it.
