An Angel for Satan

Harriet Montebruno (Barbara Steele) returns to her family's estate in a small Italian village by a lake at the end of the 19th century. An old statue has just been recovered from the water, and when a series of crimes begins, the villagers decide it carries an ancient malediction. Camillo Mastrocinque sets the film in that village, with Steele in the center of it, the statue pale and still beside the lake.
