An Empress and the Warriors

Princess Yan Feier (Kelly Chen Hui-lin) has barely buried her father when the throne passes to her and an invading army reaches the borders of her kingdom. General Muyong Xuehu (Donnie Yen) stays loyal beside her, while a hermit warrior, Duan Lan Quan (Leon Lai Ming), becomes the man she loves. Tony Ching Siu-tung stages the battles in the Warring States period with sweeping, fast-moving swordplay and richly dressed palace sets.
