An Extremely Nutty Teacher

Cate (Paolla Oliveira) is eighteen and fresh from her studies in the capital, and all she wants is to teach the children of her small town in Minas Gerais. Directors André Pinto and César Rodrigues set her in the 1940s, among conservative teachers who frown on her free, talkative ways, and among the town's handsomest boys, who all fall for her. In the schoolroom, Monsenhor Aristides (Chico Anysio) looks on while the children bend toward her and the lessons start.
