An Hour and a Half

A third-class coach rolls out of Cairo with its passengers packed in, and Wael Ihsan gives us the hour and a half before the Ayyat train accident of 2002, the one that killed 361 people. Dr. Sanaa (Yosra El Lozy), Safeyya (Somaya El Khashab) and Adel (Ahmed Al Fishawy) sit among strangers, each carrying a private trouble into the same car. What stays with us is Sanaa, ordinary and unsuspecting, with no way of knowing how little time is left.
