An Officer and a Spy

“Vive la France ! Vive l’armée !”

Georges Picquart (Jean Dujardin) is a French army officer who has just been promoted to run the military's counter-espionage unit in Paris. The year is 1894, and Captain Alfred Dreyfus (Louis Garrel) has been convicted of treason and shipped to Devil's Island for life. Polanski follows Picquart's growing doubts about the evidence, and with them the risk to his career, his freedom and the name of the army he serves.
