An Optical Illusion

Teresa (Carmen Machi) and her husband Alfredo (Pepón Nieto) fly from Burgos to New York for a holiday of switching off and ticking through the guidebook. Almost as soon as they land, small things start to look wrong, and a few look very wrong, until they wonder whether this is the city they paid for. Juan Cavestany builds the film around how fragile a person's certainty is once the surroundings stop agreeing with it.
