An Ordinary Case

A woman is dead, her husband Nicolas Milik (Grégory Gadebois) stands accused, and every piece of evidence points the same way. Maître Jean Monier (Daniel Auteuil), a lawyer worn down by the work, takes the case anyway, sure of his client's innocence when nobody else in the courtroom believes it. Auteuil, who also directs, builds the film around the long talks between Monier and his client, two men trying to decide whether to trust each other.
