Ana and Bruno

Nine-year-old Ana (Galia Mayer) travels with her mother, Carmen (Marina de Tavira), to an isolated beach so the girl can rest and see the sea for the first time. Soon she learns a terrible threat hangs over them both, and she has to go looking for her father to save her mother. Carlos Carrera animates it in thick, crowded color, and the film is about a child who finds she must carry the fear her parents are hiding.
