And Soon the Darkness

“Alone. Stranded. No one to trust.”

Stephanie (Amber Heard) wakes on a remote stretch of Argentina to find her friend Ellie (Odette Annable) gone, after the two Americans split up in the middle of a bike trip. She sets out to find her, and the only person who offers help is an expat named Michael (Karl Urban). Marcos Efron makes the film mostly about these two women, and about the trust between them that the trip has already worn thin.
