And They Say I Am the Crazy One

The grounding facts give no city, year or era, so the setting here is the family world Dani has lived in since childhood. Dani (Débora Falabella) has been out of step with everyone around her since she was a girl, and now she only wants an ordinary life. Julia Rezende fills that world with relatives and a bohemian circle, including Silvia (Yara de Novaes). The film is about what it is to be called the crazy one in a house where being different is never forgiven.
