“The holiest event of our time. Perfect for their return.”

Four cardinals have been kidnapped on the night of the papal conclave, and the Vatican summons Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) to investigate the apparent return of the Illuminati. Ron Howard sends him through Rome alongside Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer), with Commander Richter (Stellan Skarsgård) watching every move. Langdon is the one who can read the clues, and Camerlengo Patrick McKenna (Ewan McGregor) is waiting on his answers.
