Anita

Anita (Alejandra Manzo), a young woman with Down syndrome, spends her days in Buenos Aires inside a routine her mother Dora (Norma Aleandro) keeps for her. One morning in 1994, the nearby Argentine Israelite Mutual Association is bombed, and Anita is left alone, confused, with no one to tell her what to do. Marcos Carnevale follows her through the streets as she meets strangers, from an alcoholic to a family of Asian immigrants, and keeps the camera at her level.
