Anna Karenina

“An epic story of love.”

In Imperial Russia, Anna Karenina (Keira Knightley), wife of the statesman Karenin (Jude Law), travels to Moscow to visit her brother. On the way she meets the cavalry officer Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and feels the pull at once. In St. Petersburg society that kind of attention can ruin a woman, and Joe Wright stages the story as a play, the sets opening onto the theatre around them.
