Annie

“It's a hard knock life.”

Annie Bennett (Quvenzhané Wallis) is a foster kid in 2014 New York who has waited since infancy for the parents who promised to come back for her. Her days belong to Miss Hannigan (Cameron Diaz), a mean foster mother, until the tycoon and mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) takes her in as a campaign move. He thinks he is rescuing her, but her stubborn belief that tomorrow will be better is the thing that starts to change him.
