AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Years after a childhood friend died in an accident, Jinta Yadomi (Nijiro Murakami) finds Meiko "Menma" Honma (Minami Hamabe) back in his house, asking him to help her cross over. The group that once played together has drifted apart, and Atsumu Matsuyuki (Jun Shison), Naruko Anjo (Airi Matsui) and Chiriko Tsurumi (Marie Iitoyo) are pulled back in. Masaki Nishiura directs it in a plain, soft register that keeps the grief close.
