Anomalisa

Michael Stone (David Thewlis), a British customer-service expert, checks into a hotel in Cincinnati to give a speech, and every person he passes has the same face and the same voice (Tom Noonan). Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson make the film with puppets, so the sameness is built into the faces themselves. Then he hears Lisa Hesselman (Jennifer Jason Leigh), the one voice that is different, and he has a single night to hold on to her.
