Anora

“Love is a hustle.”

In present-day Brooklyn, Ani (Mikey Madison) works the floor of a strip club, where one night she is paired with Ivan (Mark Eydelshteyn), the young son of a Russian oligarch. The two marry on impulse, and the news travels to Russia, where his parents move to have it annulled. Sean Baker leaves Ani's name for the end, and what stays is her short fingernails against the door of the mansion.
