Another Round

“What is youth? A dream. What is love? The content of the dream.”

Martin (Mads Mikkelsen) teaches high school history in Denmark and wants to feel awake again, because his classes and his marriage to Anika (Maria Bonnevie) have gone flat. He and three colleagues, Tommy (Thomas Bo Larsen), Nikolaj (Magnus Millang) and Peter (Lars Ranthe), agree to test a theory that a steady level of alcohol makes life easier. Thomas Vinterberg keeps the four men close together, and what holds them is a friendship older than the experiment.
