“What is youth? A dream. What is love? The content of the dream.”

Four high school teachers want to feel alive again. They decide to test a theory: that maintaining a constant low level of alcohol in their blood will sharpen their minds and restore their edge. Martin (Mads Mikkelsen), Tommy (Thomas Bo Larsen), Nikolaj (Magnus Millang), and Peter (Lars Ranthe) begin their experiment together, but what binds them at the start unravels as each man discovers the cost of chasing back what he's lost.
