Another Summer Holiday

On the island of Ventotene, Altiero Molino (Andrea Carpenzano) has brought his husband back to gather old friends around his failing father for one last summer. The island erupts with the wedding of Sabry, a local shopkeeper's daughter turned online celebrity, drawing media and political figures. Paolo Virzì orchestrates the collision of these worlds with a light touch, letting the ensemble's small betrayals and longings accumulate like sand in the summer air.
