Another Thin Man

Retired detective Nick Charles (William Powell) is settling into family life with his wife Nora (Myrna Loy) and their baby son when the eccentric Colonel MacFay (C. Aubrey Smith) shows up asking for protection from threatening messages. The couple follow him to his isolated estate, a house full of guests with money and secrets. W.S. Van Dyke directs the case as a party that never quite stops, with the martinis still flowing.
