Antebellum

“If it chooses you, nothing can save you.”

On a Southern plantation, a woman called Eden (Janelle Monáe) works under Captain Jasper (Jack Huston) and answers to a life she did not choose. Elsewhere, Veronica, a successful author and public speaker, lives a very different one, until she wakes up inside the first. Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz built the film around her, and Veronica spends it trying to find out how she got there and how to get out.
